The city’s comprehensive plan encourages growth and promotes building on the town’s identity as a safe, family-friendly lakefront community with outstanding educational, entertainment and recreational opportunities. Students who live in Tega Cay attend the highly ranked Fort Mill schools, and residents now enjoy a number of dining and shopping options in the city as well as close proximity to Charlotte and York County’s larger cities.
The lakeshore lifestyle in Tega Cay comes with the amenities of a resort, including a 27-hole golf course, lighted tennis courts, athletic fields, a marina, playgrounds, and several miles of walking trails.
