York County Council Approves Second Reading Related to Project Palmetto Rock
YORK COUNTY, S.C. – York County Council approved the second reading of incentives related to Project Palmetto Rock following a special-called public hearing on Monday, June 29.
During the meeting, Octapharma publicly introduced its proposal to establish a corporate headquarters and advanced healthcare manufacturing campus at Palmetto Research Park in Rock Hill. Company representatives shared additional information about the proposed project and responded to questions from County Council and members of the public.
The proposed project includes approximately $1.5 billion in investment and more than 1,200 jobs.
Third and final reading of the proposed incentive ordinance is scheduled for Monday, July 13.
